My historic home in
Grand Ledge had been listed for six months with another
(high profile) Realtor with very little action. I had
been frustrated with the Web presence and went with the
Shulskys on that basis. In my estimation, the whole business is based on how good you look online. The Shulskys understand that and the difference was amazing. Price remained the same, but the increase in queries, showings and offers was exponential. My house was sold in six months with the Shulskys. I found them responsive and very nice to work with. We did encounter some crazy buyers and the Shulskys were very level headed, something I really needed to get those volatile times. We arrived in East
Lansing unannounced one Saturday afternoon--we had taken
a trip to East Lansing to find a good area for our
daughter to live in while she attends Michigan State
University for her doctoral program. We saw a real
estate office and stopped for some information.
The office was closed
and Jackie Shulsky was just leaving the office for an
appointment. She stopped what she was doing, took
us back into the office, gave us a map of the area,
pointing out areas for us to drive through and printed
some properties for us to look at. We left her to
continue on to her appointment and spent some time
driving through the areas she suggested. She was wonderful, just the kind of person a worrisome mother needed! She repeatedly drove us from individual properties to the University so my daughter would be able to tell just how far from school the properties were. Jackie was patient, fun to be with, informative, kind, patient, patient, patient!!!! Jackie found a wonderful townhouse for our daughter. she stayed with us into the evening, even though she had spent the entire day with us, and placed a bid on the property. We returned the next morning, ready to view more properties, to find that our bid had been accepted and she had already made arrangements for us to visit the property again that morning. I cannot tell you what it has meant to have some as caring as Jackie Shulsky "on our side", especially since we were three and a half hours away. She has been wonderful to work with.
