Biography:
Tom graduated from Western Michigan
University in 1976 with a BA in Real Estate
Finance. Tom joined Hacker Realty in 1975
while attending college and worked in the
mortgage loan department. After college Tom
spent ten years in real estate sales, and
won many awards including membership in the
Greater Lansing Association of Realtors
Million Dollar Club.
In 1983 Hacker
Realty became the first Coldwell Banker
franchise in Lansing. Tom was appointed
President of Hacker Realty in 1986, and
remained in that position until the business
was sold in 1996. Tom joined BriarWood
Realty in 1997 as Vice President.
During
Tom’s time with BriarWood he helped grow the
firm by 300% in sales.
Tom joined
Summit Bank in 2007 as a
Mortgage Banker. With a degree in Finance
and over thirty years experience in real
estate sales and marketing, Summit was
the perfect match. Summit Bank provides very competitive programs for
residential home loans for purchase and
re-finance.
Personal
Biography:
Tom has been a resident of Lansing his
entire life. Tom is dedicated to serving the
community, having served as chairman of the
Metro Lansing YMCA and currently serves as
chair of Highfields, Inc. Tom’s family
includes his wife Marsha of 28 years and
sons Ross and Nate, and grandchildren Violet
Joy and Annabelle Grace.
